Does it shoot raw?
Yes: 14-bit DNG, JPEG, or both. DNG files open in every major raw editor without a plug-in.
Can I change the lens?
No. The 35 mm f/2 is fixed, which is how we keep the camera this small and the lens this sharp at every aperture. A 28 mm version is not planned before 2028.
Does it shoot video?
No. Field One is a stills camera. Leaving video out kept the camera cooler, simpler and the battery lasting longer.
Is it weather-sealed?
It’s gasketed against dust, sand and light rain at the dials and doors, but it isn’t waterproof. Brush it off, dry it off, and it’ll be fine.
