Since 1986
Built in Jebel Ali
From a two-room rewind shop beside the new port to 1,850 people in three factories and seven service centres.
Still in Jebel Ali
Anders Norvik, a marine electrician from Bergen, and Khalid Al Falasi opened a rewind shop for the ships and cranes of the new Jebel Ali Port in 1986. Forty years later we still build motors two kilometres from where they started, still family-controlled, and still judged by the same thing: how long the motor keeps turning after it leaves us.
