Cloud and reliability

Lower cloud bills, fewer incidents and an on-call rota people don’t dread, starting with a fixed-price review.

Team watching monitoring dashboards in an operations room

What it involves

Cloud bills grow quietly. Oversized machines, forgotten environments and chatty services add up, and most of the teams we meet are spending 25 to 40% more than they need to. Reliability usually suffers from the same cause: no one has had time to step back.

We start with a three-week cost or reliability review at a fixed price. You get a written report with every saving or fix ranked by effort, and the first quick wins are usually made during the review itself.

If you want help with the rest, a small team of platform engineers works through the list with yours: right-sizing, autoscaling, service level objectives, alerting that points at the cause, and runbooks for everything that wakes someone up at night.

Our approach

  1. Measure

Read-only access to billing, monitoring and incident history. No changes in week one.

  2. Report

Savings and fixes ranked by effort and impact, presented to your team and finance.

  3. Fix

Quick wins first, often paying for the review within a month.

  4. Keep it there

Budgets, alerts and objectives that keep costs and incidents from creeping back.

Team and pricing

Reviews are fixed price. The follow-on work is time and materials, usually capped per month.

Questions about cloud and reliability

Which clouds do you work with?

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, including their UAE and Saudi regions, plus on-premise Kubernetes for clients who must keep data in the country. We have no reseller agreements, so we earn nothing from what you run or where.

What access do you need for a review?

Read-only access to billing exports, your monitoring and your incident history. We sign your NDA and data processing terms before we start.

What if the review finds less than it costs?

It hasn’t happened yet. If we find less than AED 75,000 a year in savings, we refund the difference.

Can you take on-call for us?

We share on-call with your team during an engagement, so we feel the same pain. We don’t run a standalone 24/7 service.
