Using this website
- You may use the site for your own information and to contact or book with us.
- Please don’t copy our text, photos or design for commercial use without asking.
- We keep the information here accurate and up to date, but it is general information, not advice for your situation.
Prices and payment
The fees on this website are a guide in UAE dirhams (AED) and exclude 5% VAT unless we say otherwise. Before we do any legal work for you, we send an engagement letter and our terms of business, which set out the fee, who will do the work and how to complain. Those documents, not this website, govern our legal services.
Our responsibility to you
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for the content of other websites we link to.
Not legal advice
Articles and guides on this website are general information about UAE and DIFC law on the date they were written. They are not advice about your situation, and we don’t accept responsibility for decisions made on them without speaking to us.
Our registration
Hale & Morrow (DIFC) Ltd is registered in the DIFC. Our lawyers who appear before the DIFC Courts are on the Courts’ Register of Legal Practitioners (demo) and follow its Mandatory Code of Conduct. In the onshore UAE courts we work with licensed Emirati advocates. Our complaints procedure and regulatory information are published on this website.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the DIFC Courts decide any dispute about them.
We will always try to settle a problem with you directly first, and nothing here stops you from complaining to the consumer protection authorities.
