Getting started

Can I set up without being in the UAE?

Yes. Most free zones accept remote applications; you only need to visit for the visa medical and Emirates ID, and for one bank meeting.

Do I need a local partner?

Not for most activities. Mainland companies can be 100% foreign-owned for over a thousand activities; we check yours on the first call.

How long does the whole setup take?

Five to ten working days for a free zone licence, two to three weeks on the mainland, then about two weeks for each visa and two to four weeks for the bank account.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. Twenty minutes with an adviser and a written quote afterwards, with no obligation.

Company setup

Which free zone is cheapest?

It depends on your activity and visa needs. The cheapest licence can cost more once visas and banking are added, so we compare the full first year.

Can I have more than one activity?

Usually yes, within the same activity group, for no extra licence fee. Unrelated activities may need a second group or extra approval.

Can I change activity later?

Yes, most zones allow amendments. Some activities need extra approval, which we check before you choose.

Do you handle renewals?

Yes. We remind you 60 days ahead and renew the licence, visas and trademark for you.

Visas

How many visas can my company have?

It depends on your office: a flexi-desk usually allows one to three, a private office more. We check the quota before you hire.

Can I sponsor my family?

Yes, if you earn at least AED 4,000 a month, or AED 3,000 with housing provided.

Do you arrange golden visas?

Yes, from AED 9,800 after a free eligibility check. Our guide explains who qualifies.

Costs and payment

What’s included in the price?

The licence, registration and our service fee. Visas, office space and activity approvals are listed separately in your written quote.

Do you charge VAT?

Yes, 5% on our service fees. Government fees carry no VAT from us and are passed on at cost.

When do I pay?

Half of our fee when you accept the quote and the rest when the licence or visa is issued.

Tax and accounting

Does my company have to pay corporate tax?

Every company registers and files. Tax is 9% on profit above AED 375,000, and small companies with revenue up to AED 3 million can claim relief for periods ending by 31 December 2026.

When must I register for VAT?

Once taxable sales pass AED 375,000 in 12 months, or voluntarily from AED 187,500.

Do I need audited accounts?

Many free zones require them each year, and qualifying free zone companies need them for the 0% rate. Mainland requirements depend on your company type.

Working with us

Which languages do you speak?

How do you keep my documents safe?

Do I have to visit your office?

No. Most clients never do; we meet by video and sign online. You’re welcome in Business Bay or Abu Dhabi if you prefer.
